We are experiencing technical difficulties.
This pic would NOT post and STAY to the previous blog posting even though I used Picassa like Lisa instructed me. Hopefully it will take to this one!
This pic you can see both boys' bodies. The one on the left's arm & thigh and the one on the right's legs. You can see how close they are, almost intertwined.

Hey Amanda,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the ultrasound pic, it's amazing! I thought about getting those of the girls, but didn't. Now I wish I would have. It's so clear. Congrats on almost going inpatient. I wish you an uneventful stay (like mine) and hope it goes by fast. I will keep you in my prayers. As for your question on sleeping arrangements. We have two cribs one in our room and one in the girls room. I plan on co bedding them for a while when we have to go back to work, then eventually we will move the other crib into their room and they will each have their own. Right now we are not using the cribs much. Since my husband and I are both off work he stays up at night and I stay up during the day and we keep them on the couch. They each have their own little bed called a co sleeper. My mom bought them for us to use in our bed, but they have worked on the couch well. We are always watching them though. Right before we left the hospital one of the nurses informed me that the American Pediatric Association (I think that's what it's called) does not recommend co bedding because one child could suffocate another. But it recommends keeping them where they can be seen. You know how studies are, one thing usually cancels out the other. For now that's my plan.
Best of luck in the hospital. Email me if you need to mistydrake@gmail.com
